AB - يهدف البحث إلى بناء مقياس المعتقدات المعرفية لدى طلبة الجامعة وبناء مقياس سمات الشخصية لدى طلبة الجامعة، وإلى التعرف على مستوى المعتقدات المعرفية ومستوى سمات الشخصية والتعرف على العلاقة بينهما. يتكون مجتمع البحث من (4064) طالبا وطالبة وقد كان عدد طلاب الأقسام العلمية (244) وعدد طلاب الأقسام الإنسانية (488). اعتمدت الباحثة على عينة طبقية عشوائية من طلبة المرحلة الرابعة وقد تم سحب عينة عشوائية بلغت (200) طالب وطالبة. أعدت الباحثة أداتين الأولى مقياس المعتقدات المعرفية والثانية مقياس سمات الشخصية وتم استخراج الصدق والقوة والتمييزية والثبات لهما. توصلت الباحثة إلى أن المعتقدات المعرفية لدى طلبة الجامعة يتمتعن بمستوى جيد وكذلك مستوى السمات الشخصية وهناك علاقة إيجابية بين هذين المتغيرين. AB - The research aims to make a measure of cognitive beliefs among university students and build a scale of personality traits among university students. The research also aims to identify the level of cognitive beliefs and the level of personality traits and to identify the relationship between them. The research community consists of (4064) male and female students, and the number of students in scientific departments was (244) and the number of students in humanities departments (488). The researcher relied on a random stratified sample of fourth stage students. A random sample of (200) male and female students was selected. The researcher prepared the first two Cognitive Beliefs Scale and the second is a measure of personality traits, and honesty, strength, discrimination and stability were extracted for them. The researcher found that the cognitive beliefs of university students have a good level, as well as the level of personality traits, and there is a positive relationship between these two variables.
