AB - هدف البحث إلى تعرف واقع استخدام المستحدثات التكنولوجية في عملية التدريس، وتعرف أهم معوقات استخدامها من وجهة نظر معلمي العلوم بالمرحلة الثانوية بدولة الكويت. وقد اعتمد المنهج الوصفي لمناسبته لموضوعه، ومن أجل ذلك تم تصميم أداة خاصة بالبحث تكونت من محورين لدرجة الاستخدام ومعوقات الاستخدام، تضمنا (39) فقرة، وتم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (360) معلما ومعلمة لمادة العلوم في المرحلة الثانوية. أسفرت النتائج عن أن أفراد العينة من معلمي العلوم بالمرحلة الثانوية يستخدمون المستحدثات التكنولوجية بدرجة منخفضة، وأن هناك مجموعة من المعيقات التي توثر بدرجة كبيرة جدا على استخدام هذه المستحدثات في الواقع التدريسي. كما كشفت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات تقديرات العينة لدرجة استخدام المستحدثات التكنولوجية ومعوقات الاستخدام تبعا لمتغير الجنس، وتبعا لمتغير عدد سنوات الخبرة، وكذلك تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي فيما يتعلق بمعيقات الاستخدام. بينما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية حول تقديرات العينة لواقع استخدام المستحدثات التكنولوجية تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي ولصالح الحاصلين على مؤهلات دراسات عليا. AB - The study aimed to determine the degree of use of technological innovations in the teaching process, and to identify the most important obstacles to its use from the viewpoint of science teachers at the secondary level in the State of Kuwait. The study adopted the descriptive approach to its suitability to its subject, and for this purpose a special tool was designed for the study consisting of two axes of the degree of use and obstacles to use, which included (39) paragraphs, and was applied to a sample consisting of (360) male and female teachers of science in the secondary stage. The results revealed that the members of the sample of science teachers at the secondary level use technological innovations to a low degree, and that there is a set of obstacles that affect a very large extent on the use of these innovations in the teaching reality. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample estimates for the degree of use of technological innovations, and obstacles of use depending on the gender variable, and according to the variable number of years of experience, as well as according to the variable of the educational qualification in relation to the use barriers. While there were statistically significant differences on the sample's estimates of the reality of the use of technological innovations according to the variable of the academic qualification and in favor of those with postgraduate qualifications.
