AB - The research aimed at developing some mathematical concepts and design thinking skills of kindergarteners using a suggested teaching model based on combining the two theories of Denis and TRIZ. The participants of the research consisted of (52) children (25) in a control group and (27) in an experimental group. To verify the extent to which the suggested model is effective, a mathematical concept test and design thinking performance test were developed. The research results revealed a statistically - significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of the control group on both the pictorial mathematical concept test and the design thinking test in favour of the experimental group, In light of the results, some recommendations and suggestions were given.
