AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية استراتيجية الأبعاد الثلاثية POE في التفكير الهندسي لدى طلبة الصف السابع في الأردن. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (66) طالباً من طلبة الصف السابع تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية، وتم توزيعهم عشوائياً على مجموعتين متساويتين إحداهما المجموعة التجريبية، والأخرى ضابطة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي من خلال اختبار التفكير الهندسي وتم التأكد من صدقه وثباته. أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين المتوسطات الحسابية في التفكير الهندسي ككل وعلى المستويات الفرعية تعزى لطريقة التدريس، لصالح استراتيجية الأبعاد الثلاثية. في ضوء النتائج يوصي الباحثان بتدريب معلمي الرياضيات على استراتيجية الأبعاد الثلاثية نظراً لفاعليتها في تنمية المهارات المختلفة لدى الطلبة ليكونوا أكثر مقدرة على توظيفها في الغرفة الصفية. AB - The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of POE strategy on geometric thinking of seventh grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (66) seventh grade students selected using purposeful sampling method and distributed randomly into two equal groups: Experimental group taught using POE strategy, while control group taught using traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study, semi experimental design was employed using geometric thinking test after checking its validity and reliability. The results found statistically significant differences between the means scores in the total score and the sub-domains of geometric thinking considering the teaching method, in favor of POE. Considering the results, the researchers recommended training math teachers on POE due to its effectiveness in enhancing the different skills of students, so they become able to employ it in the class.
