AU - سليم، تامر محمد يوسف AU - ضيف، زهير AB - تتناول هذه الدراسة دور الصحافة المحلية في تفعيل أداء الحركات الطلابية الكويتية: دراسة ميدانية على عينة من طلبة جامعة الكويت، وتهدف الدراسة إلى استكشاف دور الصحافة المحلية في تفعيل أداء الحركة الطلابية الكويتية، مع التركيز على تأثير الصحافة في القضايا السياسية، الأكاديمية، الثقافية، والاجتماعية. كما تهدف إلى تحديد الفروق في اتجاهات الطلبة نحو هذا الدور بناءً على متغيرات مثل العمر، الجنس، المشاركة السابقة في العمل الطلابي، والكلية. واستخدم الباحث المنهج التاريخي لتحليل الخلفية النظرية، والمنهج المسحي لجمع البيانات الميدانية عبر استبانة تم تطبيقها على عينة من 800 طالب وطالبة من جامعة الكويت، واظهرت النتائج وجود اتجاهات إيجابية نحو أهمية الصحافة المحلية في تفعيل العمل الطلابي، بمتوسط حسابي (3.40) وأهمية نسبية (67.95%)، كما اثبتت النتائج ان للصحافة دور إيجابي في تفعيل العمل الطلابي في القضايا السياسية (متوسط 3.32)، والأكاديمية والثقافية (متوسط 3.48)، والاجتماعية (متوسط 3.20)، كما برهنت النتائج على وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الطلبة تعزى إلى متغيرات العمر، الجنس، المشاركة السابقة في العمل الطلابي، والكلية. فيما اوصت الدراسة بضرورة تعزيز دور الصحافة المحلية في دعم الحركة الطلابية من خلال تخصيص مساحات للتغطية المتوازنة لقضايا الطلبة، وكذلك تشجيع المشاركة الطلابية في العمل النقابي والسياسي، والاستفادة من التكنولوجيا الحديثة مثل المواقع الإلكترونية لنشر أخبار الحركة الطلابية. It also seeks to identify differences in students' attitudes toward this role based on variables such as age, gender, prior participation in student activities, and college affiliation. The researcher used the historical method to analyze the theoretical background and the survey method to collect field data through a questionnaire administered to a sample of 800 students from Kuwait University. The results showed : 1) positive attitudes toward the importance of the local press in enhancing student activism, with an average score of (3.40) and a relative importance of (67.95%). 2) The press plays a positive role in student activism in political issues (average 3.32), academic and cultural issues (average 3.48), and social issues (average 3.20). 3) There are statistically significant differences in students' attitudes attributable to variables such as age, gender, prior participation in student activities, and college affiliation. Recommendations: 1) Strengthen the role of the local press in supporting student movements by allocating balanced coverage to student issues. 2) Encourage student participation in union and political activities. 3) Leverage modern technologies, such as websites, to disseminate news about student movements.
