AU - اليوبي، أريج حامد محمد AU - اليوبي، رهف حسين AU - الكشكي، مجدة السيد علي AB - The study aims to identify the role of perceived sufficiency as a mediating variable in the relationship between psychological well-being and work stress, and the study sample consisted of a random sample (125) of the faculty members of King Abdulaziz University In Jeddah, their ages ranged between (30-50). the perceived sufficiency Scale (prepared by the two researchers), the psychological well-being scale, the work stress scale, and they reached many results, which are: The existence of a statistically significant positive correlation relationship Between perceived sufficiency and psychological well-being and the existence of an inverse correlation statistically significant between perceived sufficiency and work pressures. Absence of a statistically significant correlation between psychological well-being and work pressures. The results also showed that perceived sufficiency plays the role of the mediating variable in the relationship between psychological well-being and work pressures. Among the most important recommendations were: Tite the university’s competent department for modern strategies to enhance the perceived competence and psychological well-being of faculty members.
