AB - The aims of the study are determined in the following: 1) identifying the educational models of other countries concerning the quality and accreditation procedures. 2) Defining to what extent preparatory stage English language teachers performance meets the quality standards of NAQAAE. 3) Introducing a proposed framework of the procedures that can improve the quality of preparatory stage English language teachers performance. The tool of the study is an observation checklist designed according to the quality standards defined by NAQAAE to evaluate preparatory stage English language teachers performance. The results reveal the importance of paying attention to some indicators relative to the four standards of the teachers’ performance. Some of them are: 1) using various teaching strategies suitable for the learners with special needs. 2) Covering the three learning domains (cognitive- Affective- Psychomotor); especially the affective and psychomotor. 3) Using the available tools and equipment effectively. 4) Developing the professional performance continuously, and adherence to the school regulations.
