AB - This paper aims to identify the most important cognitive competencies that must be available in administrative leadership to achieve achievement motivation for high school students. The paper also seeks to monitor the attributes and characteristics of administrative leadership. The paper also aimed to identify the dimensions of achievement and monitor its concept, and the paper used the descriptive analytical approach, The paper reached a set of results, the most important of which is that there is a positive correlation between the degree of availability of knowledge competencies for administrative leadership, and the level of motivation for achievement among students, the higher the percentage of knowledge competencies of the leader, the fewer obstacles and problems that hinder students from achieving their goals, and the paper recommends the need to have Leadership training programs to increase the effectiveness of cognitive competencies, employing cognitive competencies to increase student motivation for achievement.
