AB - The study aimed at identifying the reality of the kinds and methods of feedback provided to postgraduate students in the department of curricula and instruction at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and it also aimed to identify how suitable they are for their personal preferences. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive and survey-based approach. The tools of study were represented in a questionnaire that was administered to a group of (78 ) male and female students of postgraduate students . Faculty identified 8 kinds and methods of feedback that are suitable for postgraduate students and 10 that are very important. On the other hand, there are 13 kinds and methods of feedback that students highly prefer. The findings also pointed out that both faculty and postgraduate students agree on seven kinds and methods. The finding also showed that evaluation of suitability of the kinds and methods of feedback ranged from average to poor levels with a median of (20.54). The unanimous kinds and methods mentioned above ranged from average to poor levels. The study found out that there are no significantly statistical differences in the responses of the population on the kinds and methods of feedback that postgraduate students prefer in the department of curricula and instruction. The study recommended benefiting from the preferences of postgraduate students in providing feedback, reviewing the types and methods of feedback provided to postgraduate students in accordance with their preferences and their program of study, developing the practices of the faculty in providing feedback.
