AB - Objectives: to reveal the effectiveness of the behavioral cognitive program in reducing the severity of some behavioral problems among children with academic learning difficulties in the age group (10- 12) years. The sample of the study consisted of 16 boys and girls with academic learning difficulties, and those who visit the insight center for special needs. Sample selection terms and conditions: not more than two months have passed since they were diagnosed with academic learning difficulties, the iq of the individuals of the sample should not be less than the average, the child has not previously undergone behavior modification programs, the child does not have any disability, and the parents are not separate, or one of them is deceased or traveling, or has a disability or illness. Instruments: primary data list (prepared by the researcher), a questionnaire of socio- cultural level in the age group (9- 12) (prepared by Fayza Yousef Abdel Megeed), behavioral problems scale (prepared by the researcher), behavioral cognitive program. (prepared by the researcher). Results: there are statistically significant differences between the mean levels of the experimental group scores in the two measurements before and after the behavioral cognitive program on the behavioral problems scale (lying- social withdrawal- stubbornness), there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the ranks of the experimental group scores on the scale of behavioral problems (lying- social withdrawal- stubbornness) between the post and follow measurements after a month of applying the cognitive behavioral- program is a relationship between psychological hardiness for the mother and the social physiological harmony for sample of children who suffer from difficulties in hearing (males and females) and their ages range between (9- 12 years).
