AU - بن جساس، راشد محمد راشد AB - The aim of this study was to evaluate physical education [PE] curriculum at secondary school in Riyadh city at Saudi Arabia according to the high-quality PE curriculum standards. The study has implemented a descriptive methodology, the sample included (110) PE teachers which was (62.5%) of the total pe teachers working in secondary schools in Riyadh during the school year 1438-1439H. The pe high quality analytic tool for grads 9-12, developed by the CDC in 2004, was used. The main findings indicated that the pe and health curriculum in secondary schools was partially achieved with average score (2.01 of 3) according to the high-quality curriculum content standards. In particular, there were significant statistical difference between teachers in the first standard (competency in motor skills and movement patterns) in regard to their school sport equipment, the fourth standard (health-enhancing level of physical fitness) in regard to PE teachers' qualification, in-service training and sport equipment, and in the fifth standard (personal and social behavior) in regard to their experience and in-service training. Finally, there were no statistical difference between pe teachers in reference to the support given from the school head-teacher.
