AB - This study aimed at identifying the extent of employment of the knowledge-based economy in the Arabic language curricula from teachers’ and supervisors’ perceptions in the Sultanate of Oman. The study group consisted of (30) supervisors and (1046) teachers. The researchers employed a questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. It consisted of (24) items distributed in four fields (knowledge, communication, information technology, connection, thinking development, teacher, and assessment). The findings showed that the extent of employment of the knowledge based-economy in the Arabic Language curricula from teachers’ and supervisors 'came in a moderate degree for the overall fields of the study. Therefore, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the employment of knowledge -based economy in the Arabic language curricula according to gender. The findings also revealed that there were statistically significant differences according to the job. In the light of the study results, the researchers recommended the necessity of reviewing the Arabic language curricula and working on rebuilding those curricula in line with the requirements of a knowledge-based economy.
