AU - محمود، مصطفى عرابي عزب AB - The current research attempted to develop speaking skills among non-native learners of Arabic language at the elementary level. To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a checklist of speaking skills attainable for non-native learners of Arabic language at the elementary level, speaking test, an observation sheet and a suggested strategy based on the visual approach. After applying the suggested strategy based on visual approach and research tools on a research group of eight students at the elementary level, the research indicated that there was a statistically significant difference in the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre / post administrations of speaking skills' test and observation sheet for the post administration at the level of 0.01. Consequently, the impact of the strategy based on the visual approach for developing speaking skills among non-native learners of Arabic language at elementary level was very large. In the light of research results, the researcher recommends using the suggested strategy based on the visual approach for developing written expression among non-native learners of Arabic language.
