AB - The study aimed at identifying the role of the Palestinian family in instilling the values of democracy and the patriotic belonging among its siblings. To achieve the study aim, the descriptive approach was used. The researcher prepared a questionnaire, administrated on a random sample of (300) Male and female siblings aged (15-18) in Rafah governorate. The study shows the following results: 1) There is a role of the Palestinian family in promoting the values of democracy among its siblings. The total score was (75.6%); the value of tolerance and amnesty was 79.1%, followed by the value of freedom and expression of opinion 74.8%, and followed by the value of equality and justice (72.8%). 2) There is a role of the Palestinian family in instilling the values of patriotic belonging among its siblings. The total score reached (75.2%): the value of homeland protecting was (79.8%), followed by the value of the homeland preserving 78.7%, followed the value of homeland building (77.4%), followed by the value of homeland loyalty 74.6%, followed by the value of the homeland commitment 70.5%, and finally the value of the collective and social participation (70.2%). 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the role of the family in the instilling the values of democracy and the patriotic belonging among its siblings due to the following variables: gender, the educational level of the breadwinner, and the family income level.
