AU - حمد الله، حيدر مسير AU - القاضي، تبارك عدنان جواد AB - هدف البحث إلى معرفة فاعلية اسلوب القراءة الموجهة في (التحصيل والفهم القرائي ) لطالبات الثاني متوسط في مادة علم الأحياء. وقد اختيرت لتحقيق هذا الهدف (68) طالبة من طالبات الصف الثاني متوسط في متوسطة التقدم في مدينة بغداد، قسمت أفراد العينة إلى مجموعتين المجموعة الأولى التجريبية درست وفق القراءة الموجهة أما المجموعة الثانية فهي الضابطة درست على وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية. وقد أعدت الباحثة اختبارين اختبار تحصيلي واختبار الفهم القرائي للمجموعتين وبعد جمع الإجابات وتصحيحها تمت معالجتها بالطرق الغحصائية الملائمة وفيما يلي ملخص النتائج البحث: تفوق المجموعة التجريبية التي درست وفق القراءة الموجهة على المجموعة الضابطة في كل من التحصيل والفهم القرائي. To achieve the goal 68 female pupils from the second class Taqudem intermediate school in Baghdad. The individuals in the sample were divided into two groups, the first (experimental) studied according to the directed reading method, while the second group is the control group which studied according to the ordinary method. The researcher has prepared two tests an educational achievement test and a reading comprehension test for both groups. After collecting and correcting the answers they were appropriately statistically processed and the summary of the results were as follows: The experimental group which studied according to the directed reading method exceeded the control group in both educational achievement and reading comprehension.
