AB - What we are seeing now is the development in the areas and fields of knowledge specialized subsidiary requires a collaborative knowledge production so that there is some kind of integration between the various knowledge bases, not only on research cooperation between researchers in the department or college or among the faculties of the university, but also, and increasingly, off-campus or across geographical boundaries between states, studies have shown the existence of failure or lack of scientific production in general and collective, either for not having a clear strategic plans and objectives to orientation of scientific research in universities, or the difficulty of cooperation among members of the research project. And in exchange for important research projects and their role in the exchange of experiences and increase the quality of scientific research, we need to employ it systems effectively in projects for their advantages and facilities has solved some of the obstacles of scientific projects and pave the way for high-quality research projects. So, the idea of research highlighting the main obstacles facing faculty members when implementing projects, and influencing the research and scientific production, and propose actions and applications suitable for scientific projects management using the its systems in accordance with the principles of project management. Where is the problem in identifying obstacles facing faculty members when implementing projects, and identifying the scientific principles of project management based on the principles of project management and to help overcome those obstacles, and showing the benefits of information technology systems for faculty members to serve scientific projects and warning some it systems that can be used to manage those projects. Follow the descriptive analytical research, were used to identify answer the study questions, three axes, axis I as found in previous studies of the scientific orientation of project management constraints for faculty members of universities, and the second theme: the advantages of using it systems expected to faculty members who already use information technology systems in previous scientific projects, and track 3 proposals for project management staff using it systems based on features by some it systems in the area of project management. The questionnaire was designed and distributed electronically to a number of faculty members at universities (100) return (40). The results show that there are difficulties facing faculty members in collective and scientific projects, notably the difficulties concerning the clarity of the plan of action and to team members, and the lack of a clear timeline for the work of the panel members, followed by difficulties including difficult to accomplish project tasks and difficult to exchange results and information at work and the difficulty of meeting with team members and access to sources of project and project plan amendment if necessary also found that only 27% of members faculty who work within a work team depends on it systems to manage and implement the project, and build on their experience proved the advantages of the scientific project management using the it systems so that 73% of them would prefer to work in a team work depends on it systems, one of the most important advantages that they had assisted in the completion of projects on time and facilitate access to resources and files for the project and facilitated the meeting team members also assisted in the development of research skills. When drawing up proposals for the management of the scientific faculty projects using information technology systems found strong support from faculty members of all the proposals made in the study.
