AB - This study aimed to find out, "employment of musical heritage of Jordan proposed a method to teach the basics of Arabic music in Jordan academy of music". "and adopted in this study two types of data sources, primary and secondary have been obtained secondary data from a number of books and previous studies related to the subject of the study, while preliminary data for obtained by distributing a questionnaire to a sample of the study. This may be a study population of students from the University of Jordan academy of music, located in Amman and the promise of one hundred and twenty (120) students and student, and the study sample included seventeen students from the academy have been selected randomly. Answers were unloading a sample search on the computer, and data analysis using the statistical analysis system (SPSS), was the most prominent results: 1) there were significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in mean scores of students in the sample experimental and the control of the shrines of eastern popular song by Jordan? 2) There were significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in mean scores of students in the sample experimental and the control of the shrines of the eight? In light of previous findings, the researcher developed a set of recommendations including: 1) to encourage Jordanians to inspire artists composed musical heritage of Jordan in the new tunes. 2) Increasing interest in Jordan's musical heritage as a method in colleges and institutes of music in Jordan. 3) Holding more conferences are looking for experiences of the Arab world to take advantage of the Arab musical heritage as a method for teaching music. 4) A comprehensive survey of all types and kinds of musical heritage of Jordan and compile and analyze them for fear of extinction.
