AB - The current study has aimed at determining the anxiety level among students with learning disabilities and identifying the differences between them and ordinary students in the seventh grade concerning their responses on anxiety scale and identifying differences among them in the sub-scales included in the scale ; as well as identifying the highest anxiety scales of students with learning disabilities compared with ordinary students The study sample included (70) students in the seventh grade intermediate stage (35) students with learning disabilities in special need school classes, (35) seventh grade students who have no learning disabilities in public education schools in Kuwait The researcher used the anxiety test for intermediate and secondary students of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education, which is set by Dr. Fathia AbdulRaouf Awad to measure anxiety. The scale includes six sub-scales distributed on (90) paragraphs, namely the scale of anxiety symptoms, the scale on health, the future anxiety scale, school anxiety scale, family anxiety scale and environmental anxiety scale After applying the test, the researcher calculated the correlation coefficients and standard deviations and extracted the value by using a test for two independent samples in order to calculate differences between the averages of a group of students with learning disabilities and a group of ordinary students The results showed high levels of anxiety among students with learning difficulties compared to ordinary students. The average score on the test as a whole for students with learning disabilities was 47.14, while ordinary students reached the average grade (34.42). The researcher also found that there were statistically significant differences between students with learning disabilities and ordinary students on the anxiety symptom scale, the school anxiety scale and the family anxiety scale. The differences were in favor of students with learning disabilities Regarding the most common areas of anxiety among students with learning disabilities, the anxiety symptom scale came first with an average of 59.34 followed by health with an average of 58.22, and family anxiety with an average of 57.82. Whereas the health anxiety came first for ordinary students in terms of the most effective areas of anxiety with an average of 59.40, followed by environmental anxiety with an average of 41, 14, and family anxiety with an average of 40.00. This means that students with learning disabilities are more anxious in terms of the emergence and control of physical anxiety symptoms in addition to anxiety increase regarding school, health and family anxiety.
