AU - بن صالح، ناصر بن محمد AB - This research aims at identifying the educational role of the school activities in developing the personality of the student from the point of view of the specialists of school activities at the post-basic schools in Muscat governorate in its four fields social, cultural, sports and artistic) and its obstacles. The researcher has used the descriptive analytical method. The study tool consisted of two main aspects The educational role of the school activities in developing the personality of the student in the four fields (social, cultural, sports and artistic) and the obstacles that limit the achievement of the school activities for its educational role in developing the student personality. The sample of the study consisted of 30 specialists of the school activities in the post-basic education schools in the Governorate of Muscat. The study showed a number of results, including: 1) The social activity plays a role in the development of the student's personality. It contributes to enhancing the self-confidence of the student and contributes to inculcating Islamic values and translating them into real behavior such as honesty, respecting laws, cooperation and others. It also increases students' self-respect and self-esteem as well as gaining respect of Teachers, students and school administration. The cultural activity in the development of the personality of the student is developing the cultural awareness of the student and helps them to develop their cognitive abilities and helps them to increase academic achievement and contribute to the development of the student's language and intellectual fluency and expand their experience in many areas to build their personalities. The sports activity in the development of the personality of the student is helping to take care of the body and contributes to the development of social trends through some collective and individual attitudes and also helps to develop self-confidence and encourage the moral growth of the student and also develops the physical skills that enable them to continue to practice aspects of activity After their graduation. The artistic activity in the development of the personality of the student it helps to develop positive thinking and creativity of the student, and it promotes manual work for them, and develops the technical culture and the ability to taste technical and contributes to the development of a deep sense of the ability of the Creator by thinking and contemplating on his abilities and develop a spirit of cooperation and work Collective. 2) There are obstacles that limit the achievement of school activities for their educational role in the development of the student personality, including the lack of a suitable place for the practice of school activities and the lack of material incentives given to the distinguished supervisors and participants in school activities' also the parents' misunderstanding of the importance of school activities and neglecting of students production in school activities And praising them. The researcher's limits the achievement of school activities recommendations are: 1) To encourage the free practice of school ' by creating the necessary factors for the success of its practice and work to prepare and prepare the appropriate place for it. 2) Work on the renewal and development of school activities to keep abreast of changes and on-going developments to make students practicing effectively and convincingly, by highlighting the value and importance in the development of the personality of the student in an integrated and balanced form. 3) Pay attention to the role played by the student in the implementation of school activities through activating the incentives material and moral for the participants in school activities, especially for the distinguished ones, as well as highlighting and publishing the names of students who have advanced positions in competitions so as to encourage the rest of the students to participate in school activities. The importance of the role of the family in activating school activities through raising awareness among parents of their importance in developing the personalities of their children, and inviting them to attend activities and activities of the school activities and encourage them to participate as an incentive for their children.
