AB - In the last years, the interest of early interventions, and characteristics of kindergarten children have developed. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the prevalence of behavior disorders and hyperactivity accompanied by attention deficit among kindergarten children, detecting prevalence rates for male and female kindergarten children, as well as, identifying the differences between male and female kindergarten children in the two disorders. The study sample consisted of (701) children, (387 males and 314 females) from the governmental and private kindergartens in Al- Baha city. The external behavioral disorder scales were used by the researcher (teacher's form), the first scale attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (hyperactivity - attention deficit – impulsivity) and the second scale conduct disorder. The study utilized the descriptive survey method. After statistical treatment, the results showed that the highest prevalence rate is for syndrome disorders in the sample as a whole, as it reached (16) by (2.28%), followed by a pattern of hyperactivity disorder accompanied by mixed attention. It was also found that the prevalence rates of behavioral disorders (hyperactivity disorder accompanied by attention deficit and behavior disorder) in males exceeded the prevalence rates in females. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) in the mean of degrees of disorders of hyperactivity accompanied by lack of attention and behavior between males and females of kindergarten children in favor of males.
