AU - أمحد، السمان عبد السالم حاج AB - This study aimed to identify the reality of the use of teaching staff in the Faculty of Arts at King Saud University for active learning strategies in teaching Arabic language, It relied on the descriptive analytical approach and the investigation tool in the data collection process, the study population covered students of the Faculty of Arts in the Department of Arabic Language, King Saud University, where it was applied to a sample of 100 students, The study included twelve strategies: discussion, questions, problem solving, collaborative learning, concept maps, project, summary, small discussion, brainstorming, induction, co-husband thought, recruitment and induction The study lead to several results, including: that faculty members use to some extent appropriately the active learning strategies in the teaching of Arabic language and that the most common strategies used by faculty members are discussion and conceptual maps, while The least used strategy is the small discussion strategy. The study presents some recommendations, including: The Faculty of Arts at King Saud University offers opportunities for training on large number of using active learning strategies in the Faculty and outside of it and issuing, by specialists, manuals and brochures for faculty members in this Faculty that contribute in increasing their active learning experience.
