(الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - The research aimed to measure the effectiveness of a proposed unit in fashion design to develop the awareness of clothing and collectivity of female students of the department of home economics in faculties of specific education, the study sample consisted of 50 female students from the first division of the department of home economics in the faculty of specific education in Damietta. The teaching unit was taught and the implementation of the achievement test and the measurement of the consciousness of the clothes were applied tribal and repetitive to the students of the research sample, the study reached the effectiveness of the educational unit in the development of achievement at its six levels, and in the development of awareness of different ages, the study recommended that the curricula and decisions of the home economics division should be developed in light of the dimensions of clothing awareness.
