AB - This study aims to know the work's ethics and values and their influence on the occupational performance of the employees at the University of Jordan. The social survey method has been used through a sample which consisted of (400) male and female employees, (291) questionnaires were retrieved, which is a relevant percentage for the study's purposes. After conducting the statistical analysis process, the study reached a number of results: level of work's ethics and values of the employees at the University of Jordan and according to the dimensions came at high degree, and the occupational performance level of the employees at the University of Jordan came medium for the total degree with mean (4.09) and at high level, also the presence of statistically differences at significance level (0.05) in the correlation between work's ethics and values and the occupational performance of the employees at university of Jordan. The presence differences with statistically significance in the basic values dimension for code of conduct from work's ethics and values scale according to gender variable, the differences came in favor of the males. Also the study found the absence of differences with statistically significance and the total degree of work's ethics and values scale attribute to gender variable. Differences with statistically significance were found in the occupational performance of the employees according to gender variable, the differences came in favor with statistically significance in the (basic value for code of conduct) and total degree of the scale according to age between (30-less than 40) and between the age (more than 40 year), the differences in the dimensions and the total degree of the age (40 years and older). Also, the study showed the presence of differences with statistically significance in the basic values of code of conduct dimension between the qualification diploma and higher diploma, the differences came in favor of the higher diploma, and the presence of differences between the diploma and bachelor in favor of the bachelor, and between the higher diploma and graduate studies in favor of the graduate studies, and between bachelor and graduate studies in favor of the graduate studies. It is ground the absence of differences in the rest of the scientific qualification levels. The study showed the presence of differences with statistically significance in the basic values for the code of conduct dimension and for the professional competence values for the code of conduct, and for the total degree of the scale between experience (from 5 to less than 10 years), and the experience (15 years and more), all the differences came in favor of the experience (15years and more), also found the absence of differences at all levels of the occupational experience, and the presence of differences with statistically significance in the occupational performance of the employees at the university of Jordan according to gender variable, the differences came in favor of the males, in addition to the absence of difference with statistically significance in the occupational performance scale of the employees according to age, scientific qualification and occupational experience variables. In light of the results the study recommended the follow: 1) Necessity for training the employees at the universities on communicating to the ethics values and principles through training programs prepared in a scientific and methodological way to contribute to raising the employee's competence. 2) Necessity for conducting more studies investigating the values, principles and ethics topic and their relationship with other variables such as organizational commitments and job satisfaction. 3) necessity for finding the relevant mechanisms through which to rise the value system and ethical system of the employees at the universities through caring about the employees, expanding their participation base at work, and dedicating the authorities. 4) Finding clear organizational structures determining the tasks and responsibilities for each leadership and occupational level at the Jordanian universities.
