AB - The study aimed to identify the differences in psychological stress (both overall score and sub-scale scores) among Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) undergraduate students in Riyadh that could be attributed to the student›s college level variable (level 1 up to level 7), the academic major (sciences, religious sciences and humanities), and the accommodation (living with family and on campus housing). The study involved 1376 male BA Riyadh on campus students. Data analysis revealed statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the average scores of level 7 and level 1 participants on the psychological stress scale )its overall score and two of its sub-scales: study stress and future stress) in favor of level 1 students. There were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of the three majors (sciences, religious and humanities) on two subscales of the psychological stress scale (study stress and personal stress) in favor of the sciences major students. Statistically significant differences were found at the level of 0.01 on the overall score of the scale and all its sub-scales except for the scale of the future stress in favor of the students living on campus. The paper concludes with some recommendations the most significant of which is the need to pay the psychological stress the due attention by studying it and designing the appropriate programs to minimize it among the BA students.
