AU - البوسعيدي، فاطمة يوسف AU - البراشدي، عبد الله بن زهران AU - القصابي، عبد العزيز بن محمد AB - The aim of the study was to determine the Arabic language teachers’ current practices of educational technological competencies in Muscat Governorate, in the Sultanate of Oman, and to investigate the effect of the gender factor and the effect of experience factor of the Arabic teachers in their practices of educational technological competencies. In order to achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was used, whipping on 44 words that measure the Arabic language teachers’ current practices of educational technological competencies from their point of view. After verifying the validity and stability of the scale, it was distributed to 120 Arabic language teachers in Muscat Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. The results of the study showed that the level of Arabic language teachers’ practices of educational technological competencies in the Governorate of Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman as a whole reached (3.79) which is high. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at a significant level (0.05) among the responses of male and female Arabic language teachers in relation to practices of educational technological competencies as a whole in favor of the female teachers. Finally, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the categories of experience of the Arabic language teachers (less than 5 years, 5-10 years, 10-15 years) regarding the technological skills and the development of thinking and the dimensions of the educational technological competencies in general.
