AU - عناقرة، حازم رياض AB - هدف هذا البحث إلى استكشاف مستوى الحجة ومستوى الذكاء اللغوي والمنطقي- الرياضي والاجتماعي لدى الطلاب الذين يدرسون علم الأحياء بجامعة طيبة، وتقضي العلاقة بين مستوى حجج الطلاب ومستوى ذكائهم. وتكونت عينة البحث من 90 طالباً تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث، تم استخدام استبانة تكونت من قضيتين علميتين اجتماعيتين تمثلتا في قضيتي الوجبات السريعة، وزواج الأقارب، وتم اختيار ثلاثة مكونات للحجة بالاعتماد على أنموذج تولمن Toulmin (دليل، دليل مضاد، تبرير)؛ لتحديد مستوى الحجج. وتم جمع البيانات وتحليليها استقرائياً. كما قام الباحث بتطبيق أداة مكانزي (2000 ,Mackenzie) لتحديد مستوى الذكاء (اللغوي والمنطقي- الرياضي والاجتماعي). وأظهرت نتائج البحث مستوى متوسطاً للحجج، ومستوى متوسطاً للذكاءات عامة لدى أفراد عينة البحث. كما أظهرت نتائج البحث وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً في مستوى الدلالة α≤0.05 بين مستوى حجج الطلاب ومستوى ذكائهم اللغوي والمنطقي- الرياضي والاجتماعي. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - The current study aims to explore the level of argumentation as well as linguistic, logico-mathematical, and social intelligence of biology students at Taibah University. It also investigates the relationship between the level of arguments and the level of students’ intelligence. The sample of the research consisted of 90 students selected randomly. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used a questionnaire that consisted of two socioscientific issues including fast foods and endogamy. Three components of the argument were chosen based on Toulmin model (Data, Rebuttal, and Warrant) to determine the level of arguments. The data were collected and analyzed inductively. In addition, the Mackenzie tool (Mackenzie, 2000) was used to determine the level of students’ intelligence (linguistic, logico-mathematical, social). The results showed that the students had a medium level of the arguments as well as a medium level of intelligence among the sample as a whole. The results also showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the argumenta¬tion components and the level of students’ intelligence.
