AB - The present research aims at studying the patterns of interaction of primary male and female teachers and their effect on pupil’s acquisition of numerical sense. To bring about such an aim, the researcher has chosen a sample of 6 male and female teachers of mathematics at 6th year primary, and 264 male and female pupils. The sample has been chosen according to an observation from prepared by Al-Mukhtar (2007). The test of the skills of numerical sense prepared by Salih (2008) has been applied. After processing the data statistically using some descriptive statistics and two dimensional variance analysis by shefeehs test, the researcher has come up with the following results: 1) the efficiency of the associative pattern to the pattern and the efficiency of the female teachers group who have taught following the associative to the interaction. 2) The efficiency of the associative pattern and that of male teachers rather than female teachers according to gender. Also, the efficiency of the male teachers group who are teaching according to the pupil’s concerned pattern as far as interaction is concerned. 3) The efficiency of the associative pattern to the pattern. In the light of the research finding, the researcher has put forward a number of recommendations and suggestions. [Published Abstract] http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_en.gif
