AU - الحافي، بشر إبراهيم. AU - هنداوي، عمر AB - This study assessed the effect of using teaching aids in teaching the key skills of basketball for mentally disabled individuals. The researcher used the experimental approach. The sample of the study targeted (27) intentionally (three groups), (17) males and (10) females of ages (6 – 12). Having collected the data. The researchers used the necessary statistical calculations including frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, t-test value and (ONE WAY ANCOVA) for pre-test and post-test. The analysis of the data showed that there are statistically significant differences between the means of pre-test and post-test of the first group in learning the key skills of basketball in favor of the post-test of all skills. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test among the individuals of the first group. The results showed statistically significant differences between the means of the pre-test and post-test of the second group in favor of the post-test. The results showed statistically significant differences between the means of pre-test of the third group, which used the traditional mean in learning the skills of basketball in terms of accurate ball passing.
