AB - The present study aims to identify the use of mind maps in the development of mathematical correlations skills and visual thinking skills to the students of the third intermediate grade. The researcher used semi-empirical approach as the most appropriate research methodology for this study. The sample was chosen intentionally (Thirteen middle school) and consisted of two equal groups and each group consists of 25 students. One controlled (taught in the traditional way) and other experimental (considering the mind maps way). To achieve the objective of the study to identify the impact on the effect of the use of mind maps in the development of mathematical correlations and visual thinking skills, the researcher prepared 2 tests; mathematical correlations skills test and visual thinking skills test. The study concluded that the presence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the two groups to the mathematical correlations skills test for the experimental group; which shows the impact of mind maps to develop the skills of mathematical correlations and the presence of statistically significant differences between the two groups in the visual thinking skills for the experimental group.
