AB - هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى ثلاث عادات للعقل عند طلبة الصف العاشر، وعلاقتها بجنس الطلبة. وقد حاولت الدراسة الإجابة عن الأسئلة المطروحة حول تعرّف العادات العقلية وعلاقتها بجنس الطلبة. ومستوى وجودها عند الطلاب والطالبات كلّ على حدة. وتألفت عينة الدراسة من 216 طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الصف العاشر للعام الدراسي 2009/2010، وقد استخدم في هذه الدراسة ثلاث أدوات: الأولى: مقياس تقييم ذاتي لعادة المثابرة؛ والثانية: مقياس ذاتي لعادة التحكم بالتهور؛ والثالثة: مقياس ذاتي لعادة الإصغاء بتفهم وتعاطف. كما تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية، واختبار "ت"، وتحليل التباين الأحادي لمعرفة المستويات والعلاقات بين متغيرات الدراسة، وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى عادات العقل عند الطلبة (ذكور وإناث) أعلى من الوسط الفرضي، أن الذكور لديهم مستوى من عادات العقل أعلى ممّالدى الإناث في عادات العقل الثلاث؛ كما أشارت النتائج بغض النظر عن الجنس إلى تفوق الطلبة في عادتي التحكم والمثابرة على الإصغاء، وبتفوقهم بعادة التحكم على المثابرة. وبينت النتائج أن كلا الجنسين الذكور والإناث لديهم مستوى أعلى في عادة التحكم مقارنة بعادة الإصغاء، ولديهم أيضًا مستوى أعلى في عادة التحكم مقارنة بعادة المثابرة، ولكن لا فرق بين عادتي الإصغاء والمثابرة. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى بعض التوصيات بناء على هذه النتائج. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - This study aims at investigating three levels of mind habits practiced by tenth grade students and their relation to their gender. The study attempted to answer research questions concerning mind habits and their relation with students’ gender, and the extent of presence of those habits in each gender. The sample of the study consisted of 216 students in the tenth grade. Three instruments were used: Self-assessment scale of persisting habit, self-assessment scale of managing impulsivity and self-assessment scale of listening with understanding and empathy. The Means t–test and one-way ANOVA research tools were used to study the relations among the levels of the mind habits and their relation with the study variables. The findings showed that the levels of mind habits exceeded the assumed mean of these levels for both male and female. The results also indicated that males have a higher level of mind habits than females in the three studied habits. Both genders showed greater abilities in the habits of persisting and impulsivity managing than that of listening with understanding and empathy. In addition, both genders possess greater abilities in impulsivity managing compared to listening with understanding and empathy. Both male and female students have a higher level of impulsivity than listening habit, and both also have a higher level of impulsivity than the persisting habit. However, there are no significant differences between the level of habits of persisting and listening with understanding and empathy. Some recommendations were made with regard to these findings.
