AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع توظيف الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، ومهاراتهم للتوظيف، وعن لمتطلبات اللازمة لتوظيفهم، وعن الصعوبات التي تواجههم في التوظيف، والتعرف على الفروق تبعا لمتغير (الجنس، العمر، البرنامج التعليمي، شدة الإعاقة) على توظيفهم من وجهة نظر أسرهم بالمدينة المنورة. واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وبلغت عينة الدراسة (183) من أسر ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وطُبّقت استبانة من إعداد الباحث. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن واقع توظيف الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر أسرهم جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأن واقع المتطلبات اللازمة لتوظيف الأشخاص في المرتبة الأولى، يليه واقع الصعوبات التي تواجه التوظيف للأشخاص في المرتبة الثانية، يليه واقع مهارات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية المؤهلة للتوظيف في المرتبة الثالثة، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى واقع توظيف الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر أسرهم التي تعزي إلى متغير الجنس ومتغير العمر، ومتغير البرنامج التعليمي، ومتغير شدة الإعاقة. وخلصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة توفير برامج لسد الفجوة بين مخرجات التعليم والتأهيل المهني لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية تتوافق مع متطلبات سوق العمل. AB - The study aims to investigate the employment status of individuals with intellectual disability, their employability skills, the requirements for their employment, the challenges they encounter in the workplace, and to explore any differences based on variables such as gender, age, educational background, and severity of disability from the viewpoint of their families in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach, with a sample size of 183 families of individuals with intellectual disability. A questionnaire developed by the researcher was utilized. The study findings indicated a generally positive outlook by the families on the employment of individuals who have intellectual disability. The most prominent aspects were the necessary prerequisites for employment, followed by the challenges faced in securing employment, and then the employability skills of these individuals. There were no statistically significant differences in the perception of employment reality among families based on gender, age, educational background, or severity of disability. The study underscored the importance of developing programs aimed at bridging the gap between educational outcomes and vocational training for individuals with intellectual disability to meet the demands of the job market.
