AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر استخدام الأجهزة اللوحية على المهارات المعرفية والاجتماعية لدى الأطفال في سن ما قبل المدرسة، واستخدام الباحث المنهج الارتباطي، وتكونت عينتها من (60) طفلا من أطفال ما قبل المدرسة (3 -6) سنوات، (30) طفلا سبق لهم أن استخدموا الأجهزة اللوحية قبل المدرسة، و(30) طفلا لم يستخدموا الأجهزة اللوحية قبل المدرسة. وتم تطبيق هذه الدراسة في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الجامعي 1443 هـ. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود أثر (إيجابي) ذي دلالة إحصائية للأجهزة اللوحية على مهارات الأطفال المعرفية، بينما لم يكن ذلك الأثر (الإيجابي) دالا إحصائيا بالنسبة للمهارات الاجتماعية. وعلى ذلك أوصى الباحث بإجراء المزيد من الدراسات العلمية على هذه المرحلة العمرية (أطفال ما قبل المدرسة)، والتعرف على جوانب التأثر، ومن ثم الاستفادة منها في بناء محتويات رقمية ذات قيمة إيجابية، بذل المزيد من قبل الجهات الرسمية (التعليمية والاجتماعية) في نشر الوعي بين مجتمع الآباء والأمهات عن كيفية التعامل مع هذه التقنيات واستخدامها مع أطفالهم، بما يضمن سلامة الاستخدام والحد من آثاره السلبية. AB - The study aimed to identify the impact of using tablets on the cognitive and social skills of preschool children, and the researcher used the correlational approach. The sample consisted of (60) preschool children (3-6) years, (30) children who have used tablets before school, and (30) children who did not use tablets before school. This study applied in the second semester of the academic year 1443 AH. The study concluded that there was a statistically significant (positive) effect of tablet devices on children’s cognitive skills, while this (positive) effect was not statistically significant for social skills. Accordingly, the researcher recommended conducting more scientific studies at this age stage (preschool children), identifying aspects of impacts, and then benefiting from them in building digital contents of positive value. More efforts should be made by official entities (educational and social) in spreading consciousness in parent community on how to deal with these technologies, ensuring the safety of use and reducing its negative effects.
