AU - آل الشيخ، أحمد بن عبد العزيز AU - متولي، أحمد سيد محمد AU - إسماعيل، عماد عبد الجواد AU - أبو هاشم، السيد محمد AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف الاحتياجات التدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك سعود، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 343 عضواً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس (152 من الذكور و191 من الإناث)، وزعت عليهم استبانة الاحتياجات التدريبية في المجالات: التدريسية، والشخصية، والبحثية، والتقنية، والقيادية والإدارية. وتم استخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية، والمتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار "ت" لتحليل البيانات. وأظهرت النتائج أنه: توجد احتياجات تدريبية لدى الذكور والإناث من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في حميع المهارات التي تضمنتها الاستبانة. وكانت أبرز احتياجاتهم التدريبية من المهارات التدريبية هي: تخطيط وتصميم التدريس وفق معايير الجودة، وتطبيق الأساليب العلمية لتطوير المناهج. ومن المهارات الشخصية: إدارة الوقت واستثماره بكفاءة وفاعلية، واستخدام مهارات الإقناع. وفي المهارات البحثية: نشر البحوث في المجلات العلمية، وعرض البحوث في المؤتمرات الدولية. ومن المهارات التقنية: تصميم المواد التعليمية على الإنترنت، وتطبيق المعايير المستخدمة في التعليم الإلكتروني. ومن المهارات القيادية والإدارية: إعداد الخطط الاستراتيجية، وإدارة ضغوط العمل. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - The current study aimed at assessing the training needs for faculty members at King Saud University at five specific categories of skills including: teaching, personal, research, IT and management and leadership skills. The descriptive survey approach was used in the current study. To collect the data، a questionnaire was compiled to include the most common skills in the five categories listed above. The studied community sample consisted of (343) individual; including (152) male and (191) female faculty members representing both humanities and science colleges. Statistical analyses included using percentages, frequency, means, and T-test. Results of the study showed that: Both male and female faculties at King Saud University had similar training needs in the five categories of skills. The most needed teaching skills by the male and female faculties were planning for teaching according to quality standards and applying scientific approaches in developing curricula. The most needed personal skills by the male and female faculties were effective and efficient time management and use of persuasive skills. The most needed research skills by the male and female faculties were publishing papers in scientific journals and technicalities of presenting research in international conferences. The most needed IT skills by the male and female faculties were designing educational websites on the internet and applying e-learning standards. The most needed managerial and administrative skills by the male and female faculties were strategic planning and managing work stress.
