This study entitled to “The role of cultural activities in improving children's listening and speaking skills at pre-school kindergarten”. It will aim to identify “how the cultural activities contribute to improving children’s listening and speaking skills at Izdihar and Tassabih pre-school kindergarten?” The main objectives of this study are: 1) Identify the role of cultural activities in the improvement of listening and speaking skills at pre-school kindergarten. 2) Highlighting the importance of cultural activities in terms of the role played by these activities in developing Children's language skills (listening and speaking). 3) Attract the attention of kindergarten teachers to the importance and the effectiveness of cultural activities-at this level as the basis of learning process before entering school. In the opening chapter we focus on: Terminology and concepts of the study, while in the second chapter it is entitled “employing cultural activities in kindergartens”. In order to achieve the objectives of this study we applied the descriptive approach that suits this study, research tools and materials were designed to describe this phenomenon, relying on observation and analysis. After the analysis, the study concluded: 1) Cultural activities helps children enrich their linguistic vocabulary. 2) Children will be attentive listeners and good speakers by training their ears to listen and their tongues to speak. 3) Helps the children to distinguish between linguistic sounds. 4) Contributes to activating their auditory memory. Focus on achieving most of the subskills to large extent in many activities. (Author’s abstract)
