The research aimed to identify the relationship between cognitive curiosity and both mastery motivation and academic wellbeing among a sample of university students. It also aimed to reveal the possibility of predicting cognitive curiosity among university students through mastery motivation and academic well-being, and to reveal the differences in cognitive curiosity in light of the variable and gender (male, females) and group (first, second, third, fourth also revealed the level of cognitive curiosity among university students. The researcher used the descriptive comparative approach to achieve the research objectives. The research sample consisted of university students (males, females) and from the group (first, second, third, fourth) by (342) male and female university students, aged between (19-23) years, with an arithmetic mean of (21.58) and a standard deviation of (1.36). To verify this, the cognitive curiosity scale was applied (prepared by the researcher). The mastery motivation scale was prepared by (Al-Banna, Tahoun, 2019), and the academic well-being scale was prepared by (Abdulaziz,2022). The results of the research resulted in the existence of a positive correlation with statistical significance at the level of significance (0.01) between cognitive curiosity and motivation for mastery, and the presence of a positive correlation with statistical significance at the level of significance (0.01) between cognitive curiosity and academic well-being among university students. The results also resulted in: The possibility of predicting cognitive curiosity through the motivation for mastery and academic well-being among university students, and it also resulted in no differences in cognitive curiosity according to the gender variable (males, females) and the presence of differences in cognitive curiosity according to the group variable (first, second, third, fourth) in favor of the group. First, the results also revealed a high level of cognitive curiosity among university students. The research shed light on the importance of enhancing cognitive curiosity among university students through the motivation for mastery and academic well-being. The researcher came up with some recommendations through these results. (Published abstract)
