The research aims to develop a diagnostic scale for assessing English learning difficulties among children, and to establish its validity, reliability, and standards. Accordingly, the researcher has prepared a scale consisting of two main parts in its final form: Part One: includes four reading passages, each followed by four questions related to the information provided within the passage. This is done to measure reading comprehension in the English language among children. Part Two: includes four writing topics, where the child is required to write at least fifty words on each topic separately. This is done to measure difficulties in written expression in the English language among children. (Published abstract)
