The study aimed to identify the degree of change management practice among government school leaders and its relationship to institutional excellence from the point of view of teachers in Al-Ardah Governorate. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive correlative approach was used, and the study tool included precise measures for both variables, to collect data from the research community, which numbered (1223) teachers, and the study sample was randomly selected, and included (241) valid responses for analysis. The study concluded that the practice of government school leaders in Al-Ardah governorate came to a (medium) degree from the teachers’ point of view, and the level of institutional excellence in school came to a (medium) degree. The results showed the existence of a (positive) correlation with statistical significance at the level of significance (0.01) between the degree of practice of school leaders and the level of institutional excellence, as it was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average responses of the study sample about their appreciation of the practice of school leaders. For the change management style, and their appreciation of the level of organizational excellence, attributed to the years of experience, while the results showed that there are statistically significant differences attributable to the academic qualification, and in favor of the bachelor's degree. Other variables, as they represent an original and modern trend in leadership research. (Published abstract)
