The aim of the research is to identify the level of persuasive communication among male and female counselors in Kirkuk. The research community included male and female counselors in Kirkuk for the academic year (2021-2022), which numbered (300) male and female counselors, amounting to (134) male and female counselors: (166) female counselors, and (126) male and female counselors. They were divided into those with service (less than 10 years) and (174) men and women with service (more than 10 years). A sample of this community was selected, which numbered (150) men and women, consisting of (67) mentors, (83) mentors, and (63) guides and guides with service (less than 10 years) and (87) guides with service (more than 10 years). In order to achieve the objectives of the research, a scale of persuasive communication was built, in its initial form of (42) items within four areas. They are (self-communication (12) paragraphs, social communication (12) paragraphs, emotional communication (8) paragraphs, functional communication (10) paragraphs). To verify the validity of the scale, it was presented to a group of experts and specialists in the field of education and psychology. According to their views, two paragraphs were deleted from the scale, therefore, the scale became composed of (20) items, and in front of each paragraph (5) alternatives were placed. After processing the search data, the search showed the following results: 1) Men and women counselors have an acceptable or average level of persuasive communication with statistical significance. 2) The sample counselors have a higher level of persuasive communication than the counselors. 3) Men and women guide with a number of years of service (more than 10 years) have a higher level of persuasive communication than their colleagues with a number of years of service (less than 10 years). In light of these results, the researcher developed a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
