The research aims to identify: 1) The level of social control methods for middle school students. 2) The impact of the counseling program on developing methods of social control among middle school students by verifying the following hypotheses: a) There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group on the scale of social control methods before and after the application of the program. b) There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the control group on the scale of social control methods in the pre and post tests. c) There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control groups on the scale of social control methods in the test and the post test. The research sample was chosen in an intentional way to represent the research sample consisting of (56) students of the fifth preparatory grade, and the researcher adopted the scale of social control methods prepared by Al-Tai (2021). It consists of (42). Statistical means: 1) Chi-square for one sample. 2) Paragraph discrimination equation. 3) Lates equation. 4) Facronbach equation. 5) T-test for two independent samples. Among the findings of the researcher: 1) It turns out that the methods of social control among students of the preparatory stage vary in severity among students. 2) The study showed the importance of the counseling program in helping students achieve methods of social control, which makes them more motivated to study. In light of the research results, the researcher made some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
