فعالية برنامج معرفي سلوكي لتحسين الأمن النفسي في خفض درجة بعض المشكلات السلوكية لدى التلاميذ المعاقين بصريا
This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral program in reducing some behavioral problems among visually impaired students, and the study used the quasi-experimental approach. The research sample consists of (7) students of the Ronaki Institute for the Blind - Erbil, (2 males and 5 females), whose ages range between (10-11) years old, for the academic year (2020-2021). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a behavioral scale which consisted of (23) items distributed over three main areas (the first field: fear, the second field: shyness, the third field: impulsivity). The validity and reliability for the scale were achieved. The training program was applied during the second academic year (2020-2021). After collecting the data, they were analyzed and processed statistically. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the pre and post measurements in reducing the behavioral problems of blind students. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the two dimensional and follow-up measurements in reducing the behavioral problems of blind students. The study recommended the need to provide blind students with skills to deal with behavioral problems, and the need to reduce behavioral problems for students with visual impairment because of their positive impact on performance, learning and implementation of daily activities that achieve psychological adjustment.
