دور الإدارة الجامعية في تنمية مصادر التمويل الذاتي في الجامعات الحكومية السعودية في ضوء بعض الخبرات التعليمية
The study aimed to identify the reality of the sources of self-financing in Saudi universities, as well as to identify the role of the university administration in the development of self-financing sources in Saudi public universities, and also identify the obstacles that prevent the diversification of sources of self-financing. The questionnaire as a study tool was applied to the (866) faculty members of Imam Muhammad bin Saud University. The study reached a number of results: 1) The study members of the faculty members of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University agreed on the theme of "the reality of self-financing sources in Saudi public universities". 2) The study members of the faculty members of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University agree on the axis of "obstacles that may limit the development of sources of self-financing in Saudi public universities." Based on the findings of the study, the study recommended the following: 1) The importance of developing new systems that grant the powers of imposing a small fee on some educational services for students. 2) Issuing new regulations that increase the contribution of the private sector in university funding. 3) Expanding the absorption of foreign students studying in public universities who pay their fees in hard currency.
