فاعلية برنامج تدخل مبكر قائم على اللعب الإلكتروني في تنمية المهارات الإدراكية للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية ضمن الفئة العمرية (2-5) سنوات
The objective of the present study was to determine the efficacy of an early intervention program utilizing video games to enhance cognitive abilities in children aged (2-5) years with intellectual disabilities. The quasi-experimental one-group approach was utilized. The study population consisted of 11 children who had moderate to mild intellectual disabilities. The findings indicate the efficacy of the video game program and its ability to sustain the observed improvement over an extended period. The study found significant differences at a significance level of (0,05) between the ranks of group members in the tribal and remote areas in terms of the cognitive skills scale for children with intellectual disabilities after the program was implemented. The post-measurement results were in favor of the post-measurement. However, there were no statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0,05) between the scores of group members on the same cognitive skills scale. Thus, it has been demonstrated that the program has a lasting, long-term impact. The researchers suggest implementing educational programs that utilize diverse electronic games to enhance the cognitive abilities of children with intellectual disabilities and effectively integrate them into the educational system.
