اتجاهات الشباب نحو التحديث والتطوير وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات الشخصية : دراسة ميدانية على عينة من الشباب في مدينة دمشق
This study aims to reveal the attitudes of youth towards the Syrian process of modernization, its relationship with some of the psychological and personal variables, such as: self-concept and personality traits, the status of internal control and external, and gender, profession and age. The samp1e consisted of (600) young men and women, selected randomly, who are working in different sectors (doctors, engineers, university students, business free, teachers), ages between the (20-40) years. The researcher used a set of measures: the measure of psychological manifestations of the update prepared by the researcher, and a measure of personality, the measure of self-concept, focuse control measure. The study drew the following conc1usions: that (68.6) of respondents have positive attitudes towards the psychological aspects of the update for (31.4) have negative trends, with a positive correlation between function and update all aspects of the concept of self-Anbsatip and internal control, and a negative correlation with neuroticism and external control. that young people who have a positive vision of modernization and development of their personality Tzmt openness to self and others, the concept of positive, and the ability of the internal control compared to individuals who have received low scores in the measurement update. The results also indicate that male attitudes are more likely to update from the females in some variables, and the superiority of. females to males in the other variables, and those teachers and students were more likely to modernization and development of the rest of the other categories of young people who were on the research sample, as was the attitudes of young people in category the younger age more positive towards modernization and development, compared with the older age group.
