The study aimed to reveal the reality of the use of artificial intelligence, mechanisms for developing scientific research skills, and the challenges facing the role of artificial intelligence in developing scientific research skills among students of the College of Education at King Saud University. The study sample consisted of (70) female students from the College of Education at King Saud University. The study used the descriptive approach. The study adopted a questionnaire to collect study data. The results of the study reached the following: Weak interaction of artificial intelligence with research questions objectively for students of the College of Education at King Saud University. Lack of reliance on artificial intelligence in the simultaneous translation necessary for scientific research for students of the College of Education at King Saud University. The scarcity of using artificial intelligence programs to detect plagiarism by female students of the College of Education at King Saud University. Lack of provision of artificial intelligence research material at any time for female students of the College of Education at King Saud University. The lack of use of artificial intelligence tools in analyzing information and data from various sources among students of the College of Education at King Saud University. Weak reliance on artificial intelligence tools that develop important time management skills for scientific research among female students of the College of Education at King Saud University. The scarcity of using artificial intelligence tools for collecting data for the study among female students of the College of Education at King Saud University. The possibility of artificial intelligence deviating from its scientific goals. Lack of confidence in the applications of artificial intelligence in scientific research, as it is inhumane. Applications of artificial intelligence threaten the jobs of the human element. The study recommended the necessity of providing more study programs related to artificial intelligence and its tools that can be used in the development of scientific research, training female students to use artificial intelligence tools within the university, and directing female students to further research and study on the use of artificial intelligence in the experiences of some foreign and advanced countries in scientific research.
