This study aimed to identify the degree to which organizational impression management strategies are practiced by secondary school principals in Buraidah, and to uncover the obstacles to practicing organizational impression management strategies among secondary school principals. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and the sample consisted of (355) male and female teachers, they were randomly selected from secondary school teachers in Buraidah and a questionnaire was administered to them. The study results indicated that organizational impression management strategies are widely practiced by secondary school principals in Buraidah, from the teachers' perspective. The self-reinforcement strategy ranked first, followed by the role model strategy, and then the intimidation strategy, all of which received high scores. The results indicated no statistically significant differences in teachers' responses regarding the extent to which school principals implement organizational impression management strategies based on gender, whether with regard to the overall score or strategies (self-reinforcement, intimidation), while there were differences in the role model strategy in favor of females, there were no differences regarding the degree to which school principals practice organizational impression management strategies attributable to the variable of years of experience. The results also showed that the obstacles to secondary school principals in Buraidah implementing organizational impression management strategies were moderate, with technical obstacles being significant, followed by administrative and organizational obstacles at a moderate level, and then personal and social obstacles, also at a moderate level. Based on these findings, several recommendations were made. (Published abstract)
