The study aimed to identify the level of economic, social and psychological challenges faced by families of children with learning disabilities in Jordan from their point of view. To achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive survey approach was used to suit the nature of the study. The study population consisted of (725) families of students with learning disabilities. Enrolled in the schools of the university district in the capital, Amman, the study sample consisted of (120) families, where they were chosen randomly. To identify the challenges that families in Jordan face and coping strategies they use, two study tools were designed. The first tool addressed economic problems, social problems, psychological problems, while the second tool addressed coping strategies and consisted of (27) items. The level of challenges was revealed through the use of arithmetic means and standard deviations, and analysis of variance within the SPSS program. The results of the study revealed that economic problems were the highest compared to other problems. The study also found that the families' use of coping strategies was moderate. (Author’s abstract)
