تصور مقترح لمناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية في ضوء أبعاد التربية المائية على تنمية التنور المائي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية

The aim of research is to prepare a proposed conception for the development of social studies curricula at the preparatory stage in view of water education dimensions', after identifying the extent to which these curricula include the dimensions of water education, and to achieve this goal, a list of water education dimensions' that should be included in curricula of social studies at preparatory stage was prepared and analyzed social studies curricula content for the academic year 2022-2023. The research tools were prepared, including the pupils's handbook for two units of the proposed conception and a guidebook's teacher for teaching units, and the water literacy scale was prepared included four sub-dimensions (Aquatic Knowledge - Water Awareness - Water consumption behaviour - cognitive skills to solve water problems). The research group consisted of (30) pupils of the first grade at El shaheed Salah Eldeen Hussen preparatory school for boys in Fayoum. The quasi-experimental method was used with a single experimental group and both pre-post measurements. A pre-test of water literacy scale was applied to the research group, then post-test applied after teaching the proposed perception of the research group. The results revealed: shortage in the social studies curricula in the preparatory stage in addressing the dimensions of water education, as well as the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05), in terms of developing the dimensions of water literacy in favor of post-test, in view of research results, several recommendations were put, including reviewing the curricula of social studies at the preparatory stage, and using the proposed conception to develop them in view of the dimensions water literacy.
