The study aimed to evaluate the experience of Distance Learning from the point of view of the academic staff in the Department of Physical Education at the College of Basic Education during Corona pandemic, by knowing their views about The most important technical characteristics of the educational platform (Microsoft Teams), the extent of willingness to use distance learning, the pros and cons of distance learning, knowing the obstacles and difficulties in employing distance learning, the most important recommendations and proposals made by the academic staff in the Department of Physical Education to improve and develop distance learning. The descriptive approach was used and a questionnaire was applied to all (52) faculty members in the Department of Physical Education. The study concluded that one of the most important characteristics of the educational platform that was used for distance education is the availability of tools for communication between the academic staff and students, and that one of the most important advantages of distance learning is increasing the experiences of computer skills, and one of the most prominent disadvantages of distance learning is that there is no guarantee of cheating in electronic tests, and one of the most prominent challenges is the difficulty of using distance learning in teaching courses of a practical and applied nature, such as physical education. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of the degree of evaluation of the academic staff in the Department of Physical Education for the distance learning experience according to the variables (gender, number of years of experience) on the total score and all dimensions.
