The study aimed to identify the reality of the use of medical libraries for students at the College of Medicine in the State of Kuwait, reveal the impact of medical libraries on students’ skills and knowledge, reveal the impact of medical libraries on job performance of doctors, identify the challenges facing the use of medical libraries, and reveal The extent to which there are differences between the averages of study sample about the impact of medical libraries on students’ skills and knowledge, and the job performance of doctors, according to study variables. The study used a descriptive approach, and data was collected through a questionnaire included (32) statements distributed over five domains was applied to a sample consisting of (132) male and female students in the College of Medicine. The study results found that (63.6%) of study sample used medical libraries, half of sample used medical libraries for scientific empowerment, (36.6%) of sample used medical libraries one hour a week, (36.4%) of sample used medical libraries for education. The results showed that the impact of medical libraries on skills and knowledge of students in the College of Medicine is moderate, their impact on the job performance of doctors is great, the challenges facing the use of medical libraries are moderate. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of study sample about the impact of medical libraries on skills and knowledge of students in the College of Medicine, and their impact on job performance of doctors due to the variables of gender, academic year, and GPA.
