The aim of this research is to know the effect of using the literature circles strategy to develop some rhetorical taste skills among first-year secondary students. The two experimental groups: consisted of thirty-five (35) students who studied using the literature circles strategy, and the control group: consisted of thirty-five (35) students, which studied in the usual way, and the researcher used the experimental method. To achieve the purposes of the research, the researcher prepared a list of rhetorical taste skills in the light of the literature circles strategy, preparing a test measuring rhetorical taste skills that was applied before and after, and preparing a suggested perception of the impact of using the literature circles strategy to develop some rhetorical taste skills among first-year secondary students. The study reached the following results: There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the rhetorical taste skills test in favor of the experimental group. This is a result of the effect of using the literature circles strategy, and in light of the research results, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations. (Published abstract)
